Our main research directions have covered ship design and performanee optimization, advanced shipbuilding technology, ship propulsion system monitoring, diagnosis and maintenance, new energy and de-carbon technology propulsion system simulation and control, new material and its applieation in ships and ofshore struetures,vibration and noise control, ship structure anti-explosion and protection.
The college's educational history dates back to the Shipbuilding Department and Marine Engineering Department of the National Wuchang Maritime Vocational School, which was established in 1946. 2021, the former school of transportation and school of energy and power engineering were merged to form the new school.
