Note: The *Academic Essentials Database*, launched by the CNKI Evaluation Center, serves as an assessment tool designed to support the selection of representative research papers and evaluate the influence of scholarly outputs. The database analyzes data from papers published in the past decade and included in CNKI, identifying the top 1% of high-impact publications based on metrics such as PCSI, citation frequency, and download frequency. It also offers individual evaluation reports for papers ranked within the top 10% of citations in their respective disciplines, providing a comprehensive overview of their influence trajectory and peer commentary. Authors can claim their academic achievements under real-name verification and generate personalized research evaluation reports. The platform allows customized analysis by enabling users to define statistical conditions and assessment indicators for comparative evaluation of papers across researchers, institutions, and disciplines. The database is updated bimonthly.
