International Conferences and Forums: The college has hosted or participated in international academic conferences to promote academic exchanges and cooperation.
(1) From November 16 to 17, 2021, the 5th International Conference on Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (ICNAME2021) co-hosted by Harbin Engineering University, Wuhan University of Technology, and Russian University of Transport, together with the First High-Level Forum on International Intelligent and Autonomous Navigation Technology for Ships, was held in a combination of online and offline formats. The conference aimed to strengthen interconnection and resource sharing among universities in the field of international intelligent ships, promote domestic and foreign exchanges on intelligent ship technologies, and advance the development of intelligent ships and autonomous navigation ships. Professor Zhang Zunhua from the School of Naval Architecture, Ocean and Energy Power Engineering delivered a plenary report entitled "Progress and Challenges in High Efficiency and Clean Combustion of Marine Engines Fueled with Ammonia", and Vice Dean Cheng Xide served as the host of the Green Ship parallel session.

(2) On November 18, 2022, the 2nd International Symposium on Technological Innovation of High-Performance Ships was held. Chaired by Professor Zhu Ling, the conference was conducted in a combination of online and offline formats, with the offline venue at the Lecture Hall on the 1st Floor of the Library, Yujiatou Campus, Wuhan University of Technology.
